The summer special from the Kiel Allstars slam poetry reading series “Something with Seagulls” at the Kiel Forest Nursery!

This event features slam poetry, literary cabaret, short stories, and original songwriting—all homegrown, created by free-spirited authors and fueled by the absurdities of everyday life. Poetic and prosaic, funny and curious, tragic and spirited—it’s all brought to life on stage with expressive flair. 

The state’s best-known and most successful slam poets, performing their best and favorite pieces! Poets who have won titles at state poetry slam championships, appeared on TV, and won cabaret awards—taking turns and performing together!
