GÜTERMARKT Juli 2026
PICK OF THE DAY
You cannot miss this event.
In the organizer's words:
On July 5, the GÜTERMARKT invites you to browse, discover, and get involved from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Instead of new goods and a throwaway mentality, the focus here is on exchange, repair, recycling, upcycling, and appreciation for existing resources.
Visitors can expect a diverse market featuring flea market stalls, local arts and crafts, and projects that demonstrate how materials, objects, and ideas can find new life in different contexts. Workshops and hands-on activities invite you to explore practical approaches to a more sustainable everyday life and to develop new perspectives on consumption and production together.
We look forward to an inspiring day full of exchange, creativity, and new ideas!
Program
11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Arts and crafts market and flea market featuring:
ARIMSOL
Behind ARIMSOL is Mira from Berlin. Inspired by small moments in everyday life, encounters, and quirky observations, she creates colorful illustrations and figures. These are transformed into stickers, postcards, textiles, and mini ceramics.
TULIPAS HANDMADE
At Tulipas Handmade, I create special, one-of-a-kind items for all ages. With an eye for detail, high-quality materials, and a commitment to sustainability, I handcraft school gift bags, accessories, and textile gift ideas right here in Berlin.
GLOW Rings and Charms by VLOOW
Hi, we’re VLOOW!
We lovingly handcraft GLOW—rings and charms made of fluorescent acrylic glass. They captivate with clean lines, fresh colors, and timeless simplicity. Every ring or charm emits a soft glow and adds a unique touch—whether during the day or at night.
Hand in Hand Global e.V.
We are a nonprofit organization that supports humanitarian projects in Palestine and works to raise awareness of Palestine in Germany. We plan to donate all proceeds from our flea market booth to our organization.
Cong Craft
Cong Craft was founded in 2023 in Venice, Italy, and named after its designer, Cong.
The brand strives for an aesthetic balance between the quiet, dignified stillness of objects and jewelry on the one hand, and the vibrant richness of space and skin on the other.
Cong studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. This artistic background lends Cong Craft’s creations a distinctive sculptural presence and an organic vitality.
Committed to the spirit of true craftsmanship, every single piece by Cong Craft is carefully polished by hand. As a result, each object and piece of jewelry is subtly unique and possesses its own distinct character.
MOKUIKU: Japanese Woodworking Workshop for Children and Adults
Mokuiku is an educational concept established in Japan that raises children’s awareness of the forest, wood, and the responsible use of natural resources. Through hands-on work with wood and creating with their own hands, participants gain a playful introduction to topics such as sustainability, resource conservation, and environmental awareness. This not only fosters manual dexterity but also deepens an understanding of the origin and value of natural materials.
Hilin
Hilin is a São Paulo-based zero-waste fashion project that transforms discarded textiles into new garments through upcycling. Inspired by biomimicry and nature’s regenerative cycles, each piece is handmade, one-of-a-kind, and designed to make the best possible use of existing materials.
The project focuses on transforming textile waste into high-quality, versatile garments while reducing environmental impact. By combining artisanal craftsmanship with the principles of circular design, Hilin creates fashion that prioritizes resource efficiency, durability, and responsible production.
Ufak
We (Chuck, Orkun, and Çakıl) are a small illustration and craft studio based in our living room in Moabit. Çakıl creates illustrations for grown-up kids, and Orkun designs the packaging. Our little joy, Chuck, is Ufak’s mail dog—she makes sure your mail gets on its way.
Kinky.Baft
I offer handmade ashtrays and custom-designed Clipper lighters, as well as face chains, jewelry, and other accessories. My work combines art, body positivity, and queer aesthetics with high-quality ceramics.
MOABIT IS THE BEST
Kapitän Kiez’s unofficial image campaign brings you BESTE mugs, T-shirts, hoodies, and brand-new: BESTE socks. We’ve got everything to make your heart beat faster for 21—ahoy!
Karame e.V.
Together with young people, we’re representing the Karame e.V. association at the Gütermarkt. Since 2001, we’ve been working in Moabit to support children, youth, and families. Visit our information booth, learn about our work, spin the quiz wheel, and strike up a conversation with us over some delicious waffles. We look forward to seeing you there!
