Gesprächsreihe Struktur und Wandel | Vom (Ab) Schweifen zur urbanen Transformation?
In the organizer's words:
What happens when we don’t just use the city, but consciously perceive it? Somewhere between habit and chance, wandering opens up new perspectives on urban space. Why does the city look the way it does? Who shapes it, and who doesn’t? Building on the experiences of a prototypical urban exploration, we’ll discuss the transformative potential of wandering with Kathrin Gölz, Lisa Herbst (die Schweiferei), and Nora Küttel (University of Bremen). What insights can artistic research, collective urban experiences, and new forms of perception offer for more equitable (across generations) and mindful urban development? How can we reimagine the city—and, above all, shape it together?
On the occasion of the Long Night of Science, we cordially invite anyone interested to join us on a prototypical urban exploration and then participate in the workshop discussion.
