FREUNDE (nach dem Buch von Helme Heine)

The “Kulturhaus theater 1” aims to present its visitors with carefully staged, high-quality children’s cultural programming in a pleasant atmosphere. That’s why, on Sunday, October 4, at 3 p.m. at Langehecke 4 in Bad Münstereifel, there will be a reunion with Helme Heine’s beloved characters. Anyone who is at least four years old can experience the three friends “live” on stage at the Kulturhaus. Adults without a child in tow are also warmly welcome.

About the story:

Franz von Hahn, Johnny Mauser, and fat Waldemar live on a farm. You can watch them for an entire day: The three are true friends. They help each other, go on adventures together, play together, and make important decisions—like becoming pirates.

Together, no problem is too big for them—the three of them are an unbeatable team. As different as they are, these differences are also very useful: when needed, Johnny Mauser’s little tail makes a great fishing line.

They swear eternal loyalty and share everything—until they realize there are limits. So their plan to spend the night together at Fat Waldemar’s place falls through because of Johnny Mauser’s sensitive nose. But they’re still united, both during the day and in their dreams, because true friends dream of one another.

Christiane Remmert takes on the role of Fat Waldemar and brings the story to life with imagination and a keen sense of humor, so that by the end, the audience is delighted to have gotten to know the three characters from the picture book in person.
