🩵 ME/CFS Awareness – Through two stage presentations, interactive info booths, and educational materials, you’ll learn more about a disease that’s still far too invisible. At the same time, we’ll share Kathi’s story—one of us, a Cologne native at heart.

Why are we doing this?

The event is dedicated to our friend Kathi, who passed away in March 2026 as a result of ME/CFS through assisted suicide. Her life motto was “Don’t wait too long to be happy.” That’s exactly what we want to embody on this day: celebrating life together while raising awareness for a disease that urgently needs more visibility.

With every ticket, you’re supporting our efforts to raise awareness about ME/CFS. Our long-term goal is to launch an awareness campaign to encourage policymakers, the healthcare system, and society at large to take notice. All proceeds from ticket sales, the raffle, and merchandise sales will be donated to our joint awareness-raising efforts with startaMEvolution e.V. for ME/CFS!
