Welcome to the third MORNING DANCE. We’re so glad you’re here—whether you’re a long-time Ecstatic Dancer or a brave first-timer... This Sunday morning is going to be special. Ecstatic Dance with Samin, Sound Landing, and a cacao bar by Maltiox, which will serve you iced raw cacao before and after the dance.

∆ 11:00 Start—intro with Pia & warm-up 
∆ 11:30 a.m. Ecstatic Dance with Samin
∆ 1:30 p.m. Sound Landing

∆ 2:00 PM Closing

Guidelines
∆ No cell phones
∆ No drugs (i.e., no alcohol, psychedelics, or other substances)
∆ Barefoot
∆ No verbal communication on the dance floor
∆ Treat each other with respect and sensitivity

Please arrive on time for the start at 11:00 a.m. Late entry is not possible, as the program is structured sequentially.

About ROAM ROOM EVENTS: 

For over three years, we’ve been consistently organizing Ecstatic Dances and various events in Cologne with DJs from all over the world. We see dancing as a way of life and a mirror for growth and for enjoying life. Conscious and free movement and “a space to be exactly who you are” are what we’re all about here. Our events focus on a movement for both individual and societal transformation. Because let’s be honest—we need spaces where vitality, slowness, feeling, wildness, and pure being can unfold their power!

What is Ecstatic Dance?

• A clear concept
Ecstatic Dance takes place all over the world and generally follows the same guidelines. It involves drug-free, cell-phone-free dancing—without shoes and without talking—so you can fully focus on your own inner world. The DJ will guide all the dancers, and it feels good to let yourself be carried away by the sounds as they come, regardless of your personal musical tastes. The music usually spans multiple genres and takes the dancers through both calmer and more dynamic phases. It’s about tuning into your own body.

• Embodiment
Ecstatic Dance is such a wonderful combination of movement, fun, meditation, depth, and broadening one’s horizons. It’s a truly great tool for evolving into new dimensions with joy in your heart. We give the body control and see what happens next. 

• Free Journey
It’s a kind of ceremonial dance journey at your own rhythm. Free dancing. It might take some courage at first. But letting go and dancing freely—precisely in this process—is part of the Ecstatic Dance journey. Come and give it a try! You have nothing to lose, only to gain! 

Advance ticket sales end on July 12 at 8:00 a.m. Once tickets are sold out, there will be no more available at the door. Be sure to get yours early!
