Gwenda Milton, the sister of the infamous "Witcher", is rescued dead from the Thames. The shady lawyer Maurice Messer, for whom she was employed as a secretary, does not appear to be innocent in this incident. Believed dead for some time, the "sorcerer" returns to London and seeks revenge! Not an easy game for the colleagues from Scotland Yard.
