In the organizer's words:

This duo from the capital of French Flanders has been a couple both on stage and in real life since 2015. Influenced by The Kills, New Order, and even the B-52’s, their sound lies at the intersection of pop-rock, electro, and new wave.

Glamorous, their glittery aesthetic is underpinned by a disco-infused, high-energy rhythm, layered with fuzzy bass and guitars. Perfectly suited for live performances in small clubs or on the fringes of Western Europe, they share their fierce desire to dance—it feels like a vacation in Berlin and the dance floors of the ’80s!

Following a self-released demo, their debut album “Oh my...” was released in 2016 (Manic Depression/Swiss Dark Nights). “Chew-chew” (Manic Depression/Swiss Dark Nights), their second album released in 2018, is even more dance-oriented.

Their third album, “Collect & Reject”—even more heavily influenced by a disco and electro vibe—is set for release on March 25, 2022, following two colorful video singles, “Joan” and “Love Like Capitalists” (club edit).

Dear Deer’s “Scifi” (EP) unfolds an atmosphere that is both luminous and unsettling, driven by visceral and sensual electro that straddles the line between the cosmos and the intimate. The sound oscillates between raw rhythmic power, hypnotic beats, and scintillating textures. Visually conceived as a play on contrasts—stellar radiance, brilliance, and latent anxiety—the EP is set to be released on vinyl and CD by IcyCold Records on October 9, 2025.

The warmth of the groove meets the coldness of the electronics in a space where each track embodies a tension, a stance: organic and calculated, threatening, spectral, and vibrant. “Science-fiction,” the eponymous and lead track, unfolds as visceral electro, driven by an incisive drum machine and punctuated by a stage performance that is both animalistic and ritualistic, evoking the philosophical spirit of Donna Haraway—a fusion of technological nature and augmented humanity, somewhere between utopia and industrial.
