What can I expect?
Life unfolds in cycles. Every winter is followed by spring—even if it seems impossible in the midst of the cold. Inspired by this idea, Still Life was created—a song recital that interprets the four seasons as inner landscapes of human life. 

The starting point is the song “봄 여름 가을 겨울 (Still Life) ” by the K-pop group BigBang and its poetic reflection on transience, memory, and new beginnings. Inspired by this, the duo Vert weaves art songs from various eras into a personal journey through spring, summer, fall, and winter—not as depictions of nature, but as states of hope, new beginnings, maturity, loss, and renewal. 

Rooted in the Western art song tradition, the musicians develop their own interpretation of the seasons, in which external cycles and inner experiences are inextricably linked. The program ends where it begins: in spring. Its circular form serves as a reminder that every winter is fleeting and that new life always finds its way back.
