Afterworkschweigen
In the organizer's words:
Just take a moment to pause—after work, after appointments, at the end of the day. “After-Work Silence” invites you to leave the noise of everyday life behind and find peace together.
A gong marks the beginning of the shared silence, and a second one marks its end. In between, space opens up to settle in, be mindful, and take a deep breath—right in the heart of the neighborhood. Sharing this silence can help you find greater clarity and presence and turn your attention inward.
Afterward, there’s an opportunity for connection and conversation. In one-on-one conversations or small groups, participants can share what emerged during the silence.
The event is open to anyone curious about what shared silence feels like and how it can transform conversations.
Participation is free and no registration is required.

Temporary Sociocultural Space
In the summer of 2026, the Cameo Kollektiv e.V.—which has been creating new spaces for quiet encounters since 2023—will collaborate with the Kulturzentrum Faust e.V., a key player in the Linden-Nord neighborhood. In the bustling Küchengarten, the “Platz für Begegnung” (Space for Encounters) is taking shape—a place dedicated to bringing people together and where accessible cultural programs and workshops can also be held. The goal is not only to invite the neighborhood’s residents to engage with one another on-site, but also to ask them about their wishes for public spaces and local culture, and to empower them to actively participate in shaping these spaces.
Funded by the Socio-Cultural Fund with resources from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media.
