On May 16th, the WeDesi collective is collaborating with us to showcase their take on Indian food, arts, music and fashion. 

For one day, the SPREEMARKT becomes an open space for celebrating, sharing, and discovering traditional and contemporary Indian culture.

  NARSIMHA ➡️ A wild blend of Bollywood with Narasimha. He belongs on this stage. Come witness the WeDesi vibe with him. Dhol beats all day.

  EZQIZITA ➡️ Her sets aren’t just music; they’re a movement. From Berlin to Mexico to India, Ezqizita is leaving a trail of hypnotic grooves and unforgettable dancefloor moments . Stay wild. Stay bouncy.

   Nritya Sparsha – Classical Dance Performance
  ➡️ Nritya Sparsha is a dynamic dance group that brings culture to life through powerful rhythms and expressive movements. Rooted in tradition and driven by passion, we celebrate the spirit of dance with energy, grace, and vibrant storytelling.

   Shilpa - Contemporary Dance Performance
  ➡️ Mohiniyattam is an Indian classical dance form originating from the state of Kerala. The dance takes its name from Mohini—the female enchantress avatar of the Hindu deity Vishnu. Shilpa will take over the WEDESI stage at Holzmarkt to showcase her contemporary classical performances.

   Vittal Navale - Live Art Performance
   ➡️ Vittal Navale is a deeply passionate, self-taught artist who, much like yourself, possesses an innate creative brilliance. His mission is to awaken the dormant creativity within adults, encouraging them to rediscover the joy of picking up a paintbrush and immersing themselves in the meditative process of creation.

   Anshika’s Haryanvi Dance
  ➡️ A vibrant traditional Haryanvi dance from northern India, bursting with energy.

   Sarina
   ➡️ At just 11 years old, the talented Bollywood performer and celebrated child artist Sarina takes the WEDESI stage at Holzmarkt.
   
• 17:30 – 17:45
   European pop music with Bharatanatyam
   ➡️ Jaey, is a Bharatanatyam dancer currently based in Berlin. Alongside Bharatanatyam, she also works with other styles such as Bollywood and Contemporary dance. She will combine Euro Pop Music with Bharatanatyam elements. Check out @javal.dance on Instagram.

  Indian Fashion Parade at Holzmarkt
   ➡️ A fashion show parade featuring Indian designs and contemporary style, bringing together diverse models showcasing unique Indian garments.
