Roda de Santo (Brasilien/Portugal)

[DE] Überliefertes Liedgut afro-brasilianischer Religionen verbindet sich mit Eigenkompositionen und wird mit Percussion, Gesang und Elektronik erweitert. Roda de Santo verstehen ihre Musik als Prozess kultureller Kontinuität und Transformation, der die spirituellen und gemeinschaftlichen Dimensionen der afro-brasilianischen Kultur würdigt.

[EN] Traditional songs from Afro-Brazilian religions are combined with original compositions and expanded with percussion, vocals, and electronics. Roda de Santo approach their music as a process of cultural continuity and transformation, honoring the spiritual and communal dimensions of Afro-Brazilian culture.

Bigu (Munich/Brazil)

[DE] Julia Barbossa aka Bigu ist Teil des Import Export Teams. Mit ihren Veranstaltungen hat sie für die brasilianische Diaspora der Stadt eine Lücke geschlossen. Ihr DJ Set zwischen Manguebeat, Brazilian Boogie und Funk stellt die perfekte Umrahmung des Abends dar.

[EN] Julia Barbossa, also known as Bigu, is part of the Import Export team. Through her events, she has filled a gap for the city’s Brazilian diaspora. Her DJ set, blending Manguebeat, Brazilian Boogie and funk, provides the perfect backdrop to the evening.
