Wir starten in die Kranich-Woche mit einem Konzert der Berliner Band OVIS. Das Projekt wurde 2022 gegründet und bringt fein austarierten Jazz & Folk mit weltmusikalischen Einflüssen auf unsere Bühne im *Wohnzimmer. Getragen wird die Musik von OVIS von der wunderbaren Stimme der iranischen Sängerin Hanik Soleimani. Die Musik bringt Folk-Melodien aus dem mittleren Osten zusammen mit Einflüssen aus Funk, Hip-Hop, Jazz und mehr. Vorab eröffnet N.E.S.T.A. mit einem DJ Set.

We’re kicking off our week with a concert by the Berlin-based band OVIS. The project was founded in 2022 and brings a finely balanced blend of jazz and folk, with world music influences, to our stage in the *Wohnzimmer. OVIS’s music is carried by the wonderful voice of the Iranian singer Hanik Soleimani. Their music blends folk melodies from the Middle East with influences from funk, hip-hop, jazz and more. Before the main act, N.E.S.T.A. will open up with a DJ set.
