Experimental Dance Jam

Experimental Jam ist ein offenes Format für interdisziplinäre Improvisation. Tanz, Musik, Text und bildende Kunst verbinden sich zu einer spontanen Live-Komposition. Nach der Einführung in Improvisationspartituren und einem gemeinsamen Warm-up für professionelle und nicht-professionelle Künstler entsteht eine zweistündige Performance aus den Impulsen der Beteiligten im Raum. Das Publikum erlebt den kreativen Prozess unmittelbar und die fließenden Grenzen zwischen Aufführung und Teilhabe. Im Mittelpunkt stehen Vertrauen, Offenheit für Unerwartetes und kollektives Schaffen. Das von Salomé Rodrigues initiierte Projekt war bereits unter anderem im Kunstbau zu Gast.

Experimental Jam is an open format for interdisciplinary improvisation. Dance, music, text, and visual art come together to form a spontaneous live composition. Following an introduction to improvisational scores and a warm-up for professional and non-professional artists, a two-hour performance emerges that develops from the participants’ impulses within the space. The audience experiences the creative process firsthand and the fluid boundaries between performance and participation. The focus is on trust, openness, the unexpected, and collective creation. The project, initiated by Salomé Rodrigues, has previously been presented at venues including the Kunstbau.
