Behind Münchner Freiheit, the urban quarter stretches from Leopoldstrasse 150 to 184. Schwabinger Tor is a modern, car-free city quarter and stands for innovation, diversity and urban life. Covering an area of 42,000 square meters, the district was built in several sections over four years and was completed in 2017. It is located on the former site of the metro and comprises nine different buildings that combine living, working, shopping and dining. A central highlight is the 12-storey hotel in the middle of the quarter.
