The Kinderfilmhaus Chemnitz is home to the Sächsische Kinder- und Jugendfilmdienst e. V. - organizer of the international SCHLiNGEL film festival for children and young audiences.

Our offer for you

The Saxon Children's and Youth Film Service has numerous projects and creative offers for integrating media content from the field of film into your work with children. We are happy to welcome you to our in-house cinema in the Kinderfilmhaus or, for larger groups, we can come to your facility with our mobile cinema equipment.

Our movie theater

The Kinderfilmhaus has had its own small cinema since 2013. Original cinema seating, a screen almost five meters wide including a stylish curtain and digital projection technology provide a unique cinema experience for 30 seats. Come by and experience the unique cinema feeling for yourself. Our films promise exciting stories of little heroes and big adventures. The cinema can also be hired for private events.

Vacation time is cinema time
