The Aasee attracts walkers, cyclists and inline skaters with its picturesque paths. Boat hire, a sailing school and two sailing clubs invite you to explore the lake from the water. And around the lake, cafés, restaurants and hotels cater for the physical well-being of day-trippers.

Anyone out and about on Lake Aa will not be able to avoid modern art. There are many sculptures around the lake that were created by internationally renowned artists especially for the four major sculpture exhibitions from 1977 to 2007.
