Workshop "Mit voller Wirkung"
In the organizer's words:
Building Expressive Table Puppets and Bringing Them to Life
In this two-day workshop, participants will build their own tabletop marionette under the guidance of Stefan Fichert (Puppet Players) and experiment with animating it.
Special attention will be given to the design of the puppet’s head, which is constructed in a collage-like manner using various materials, starting from a basic shape. The technical components are already pre-assembled as a kit. The result will be a simple yet fully functional, expressive, and freestanding figure that can be used practically anywhere without any technical effort.
Finally, participants will explore the expressive possibilities of these figures, both individually and in ensemble play. No prior experience is required, but a passion for creativity and a sense of playfulness are helpful.
