Viola, rescued from a shipwreck, is washed up on an unknown coast. Alone and a stranger, she has no idea where she is setting foot. "What is the name of this land?" she asks, and is told "Illyria". Anything seems possible in this country. There are no limits to love. Everyone enters into a relationship with everyone. There is wild desire and seduction, a frenzy of love and intoxicating activity. Viola, who is looking for her twin brother disguised as a man, falls into Olivia's clutches, Orsino, who is unhappily in love with Oliva, is loved by Viola, Malvolio, the crush mocked by his cronies, desires Olivia. In the end, no one gets the one they wanted at the beginning.
