Von Mäusen und Menschen

Noch niemand hat sich das Event gemerkt.

In the organizer's words:

Of Mice and Men
loosely based on the novel of the same name by John Steinbeck

George and Lennie struggle through life together as migrant workers, dreaming of a better future. The work is hard. They move from farm to farm, from harvest to harvest. Lennie, who is tall and incredibly strong, shares a close friendship with the agile and clever George, who looks out for him. When Lennie touches a girl’s dress, they both lose their jobs.

With this classic of American literature, John Steinbeck has created a timeless parable about friendship, loneliness, and intolerance. In sparse, poetic scenes, he explores the importance of universal values in the harsh struggle for survival. George and Lennie have become legendary figures in literary history—two drifts living on the edge of poverty, searching for a place they can one day call home.
