Vaterland
In the organizer's words:
During the Cold War, Nobel Prize winner Thomas Mann (Hanns Zischler) and his daughter, the actress, author and rally driver Erika Mann (Sandra Hüller), set off in a black Buick on an emotionally demanding journey through a Germany in ruins. The route leads from Frankfurt, where the Americans are in control, to Weimar. For the first time since the war, Mann returns to the country of his origins, which he had once left to find refuge in the USA.
