Stand-up comedy | Dominic Jozwiak "Wounds"
Dominic believes that humor can do more than just entertain - sometimes it helps to say things for which there is no other language. There was little talking in his family - but a lot of carrying around. Wounds is his attempt to look at what shapes us with humor and honesty. He tells of a father who was often absent and of the silent after-effects of his Polish origins - between silence, pride and topics that are rarely talked about. Humor is not an escape, but a form of catharsis.
Each show begins with a crowdwork section (audience interaction) - a real encounter with the audience before it gets personal.
