Our Slow Acting acting training at TheaterLabor TraumGesicht e.V. is for people who want more: depth over speed, quality over a quick fix. If you don’t just want to “do a little theater” but are looking for an artistic practice that will help you grow, you’ve come to the right place.

You’re not training for a performance, but for a more harmonious way of being—both on stage and in everyday life. In the Slow Acting acting training, you combine the craft of acting with self-awareness, ritual, meditation, bodywork, and personal development. We’re not interested in quick results, but in deepening processes that have a lasting impact. For us, individuality means practicing the awareness of your own uniqueness.
The training takes place weekly in a small group and is designed for the long term. This allows exercises to deepen from week to week, roles, themes, and imagery to grow organically, and changes in presence and expression to become tangible.
We offer a safe space free from judgment. The Slow Acting method is designed to make room for even your quiet, sensitive, and contradictory sides.
No prior acting experience is required. What’s more important is curiosity, reliability, and a willingness to engage with this process.
