PICK OF THE DAY Concerts & Music
In the organizer's words:

Statement Seafret:

Hey everyone,

I'm so sorry to have to do this, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to cancel the rest of the tour: I'm struggling right now. I've recently been diagnosed with an eye disease called Stargardt, which unfortunately means I'm going blind. It's an incredible amount to process and the last few nights on stage I've had a lot of trouble seeing. I just need some time to come to terms with it all. I'm not going to let it stop me, but I just need a little time now. I know you'll understand - you're the best fans in the world. From the bottom of my heart, I'm so sorry. Harry xx

To anyone who has purchased tickets for the upcoming "Tell Me It's Real Anniversary" shows: Please heed the above message. This is not something anyone wants to do, but unfortunately at the moment we have no other choice. All tickets will be fully refunded through the respective point of sale. We will make every effort to reschedule in the future, and we greatly appreciate you giving us the space we need while we support each other during this difficult time.

All the best,
Seafret x

"Expect the unexpected" is probably the best way to describe Seafret's career. In over 15 years of band history, the British indie rock duo has experienced a lot - and won over more and more fans with their heart-warming music.
Singer Jack Sedman and guitarist Harry Draper met in 2011 in a small bar in their hometown of Bridlington. Both were still shy teenagers who played in front of an audience for the first time at an open mic evening - and really liked each other. They quickly came up with a band name: Seafret refers to a special North Sea fog in their homeland - and is also a play on words with the fretboard of a guitar.
After moving to London together, they released their debut EP "Give Me Something" in 2014, with which they were able to celebrate their first successes. Their first album "Tell Me It's Real", released in 2016, immediately made it into the British album charts. For their second album "Most of Us Are Strangers" (2020), they took very little time compared to its predecessor: they wrote and produced the album in just seven weeks - the result was a dynamic, more mature album without losing the raw authenticity of the beginning.
The start of the pandemic changed their previous plans. Despite physical distancing, they continued writing - for their album "Wonderland", released in 2023. And something else happened during these pandemic years: Their song "Atlantis", which had already been released in 2016, went viral on TikTok - including new chart entries, over a billion streams and a lot of media attention.
Now - 10 years after the release of "Atlantis" - Seafret feel like a band reborn. The unexpected success of the single allowed them to take as much time as they needed for their fourth album "Fear of Emotion". And it paid off: the album, which will be released in March 2026, is their boldest to date, with their shared camaraderie and creative joy audible in every song.
And the new album must of course be celebrated in style: Seafret are finally returning to the stages of Europe, making five stops in Germany!
