Let some fantastic musicians sweeten the end of your workday! This Wednesday, Minna Thiel will be transformed into a grand concert venue on a small scale with a live concert byLUAH.

Joyful lightness meets gentle longing: Following “Sunlit” and “Movimento”—both winners of the 2023 German Jazz Prize—the Cologne-based vocal trio LUAH, led by Elsa Johanna Mohr, is now releasing its third album. With “Equilibrio” (GLM Music), the three musicians embark on a tender quest for balance, carefully harmonizing a wide variety of styles and moods.

This balance draws from a rich diversity. New to this album is not only an expanded instrumental lineup but also the involvement of Lena-Larissa Senge and Ula Martyn-Ellis in the songwriting. This results in a rich eclecticism that continually delivers musical surprises.

“Equilibrio” is a vibrant, multifaceted album—meaningful, familiar, playful, and dreamy—in English and Portuguese. A tribute to our connections with nature and with one another.
