In 2026, the Cologne chamber choir CONSONO will present a versatile and special concert concept that will showcase the strengths of the multi-award-winning choir. Under the motto RaumKlangZeit (SpaceSoundTime), the chamber choir, known for its multi-colored sound palette and excellent intonation, will stage a multi-dimensional, creative concert experience that rethinks sound and space: from finely tuned sound to versatile choral formations, improvisational moments and innovative use of space, works by great composers of choral music such as Monteverdi, Rheinberger, Rautavaara and Verdi will be performed, combined with surprising special features by contemporary composers. In its 25th anniversary year, the choir thus demonstrates the great power of the choral sound in various facets, which leaves the audience convinced and enthusiastic.
