DOK.fest Munich is bringing *TO DANCE IS TO RESIST* to the Pop-up Summer Cinema at Königsplatz: a documentary about queer dancers in Kyiv, 90 minutes, original Ukrainian/English version with English subtitles, FSK 16.
DOK.fest Munich brings TO DANCE IS TO RESIST to the Pop-up Summer Cinema at Königsplatz. Julian Lautenbacher’s documentary follows a queer dance duo through Kyiv’s underground scene and explores themes of identity, love, homophobia, war trauma, and cultural resistance.
Germany/Ukraine 2026, 90 minutes, original Ukrainian/English version with English subtitles, FSK 16.
DOK.fest Munich, Greek Film Week, and the Alpen Film Festival are sharing the stage this Friday evening: three festival programs, one Königsplatz, open-air.
