Poetry Slam

"What roasts in the July heat will be just right in September"—or so the old farmer’s saying goes. Of course, we take that very seriously; after all, this year we’re celebrating a whopping 15 years of poetry slam at the Groovestation! But before the official birthday bash kicks off in September, the anniversary month of July is already packed with excitement and features a spectacular lineup including many of our favorite guests from past years. Poetic, gentle tones meet innovative lyrics and hilarious stories—and as always, the audience will decide who gets to take home the winner’s cactus at the end of the evening. Competing are:

As always, the slam will be hosted by the “Inka Bause of the poetry slam,” Dresden-based author Kaddi Cutz.
