Poetry Slam

Slam at the Bollwerk. A wonderful tradition!

As always, an audience jury decides what is popular. There are only a few rules for the slam poets: a time limit of 6 minutes, only self-written texts and no aids other than the manuscript. Apart from that, whatever you like is allowed, be it a poem, story or freely performed improvisation. You, the audience, decide - and choose the winner. This irresistible mixture of reading, performance and pop culture is a rousing celebration of the spoken word.
