A road disappears into nowhere.
The heat shimmers on the asphalt.
You’re on your way—maybe you know where you’re going. Maybe not.
Maybe you’re driven by curiosity, longing, or a thirst for adventure.
Maybe you’re running away from something.
Who will you be when you reach your destination?
In August, this feeling of being on the move finds its voice.
We look forward to poets sharing their impressions and thoughts
with us in the midst of a balmy summer night.
