Pink Movie Club | "Signature Move" (OmdU)

The Pink Movie Club is the place for everyone who wants queer cinema!

The twelfth edition of the Pink Movie Club is just around the corner - and we are delighted to be able to organize it in cooperation with the "Festival contre le Racisme". 💜

"Signature Move" tells the story of Zaynab and Alma and deals with the complexities of queer, migrant identities. The two navigate different familial and societal expectations, and Zaynab fights not only with the US immigration authorities for the rights of her clients, but ultimately also in the wrestling ring. ✨️

So come along to the Bonner Kinemathek (in the Brotfabrik) on June 12 at 8.30 pm! The movie will be shown in the original English with German subtitles. Before the movie there will be champagne mate and a short introduction. Anyone who wants to can also take part in our outfit challenge: Show us a look that makes you feel empowered! 💪💅

The two navigate different familiar and societal expectations and Zaynab finds herself not only fighting battles in the US immigration courts on behalf of her clients, but also in the wrestling ring. ✨️

So join us on June 12th at 8.30 pm at Bonner Kinemathek (at the Brotfabrik) ! 💜 We'll screen the movie in the original English with German subtitles. Before the movie there will be sprakling wine and mate as well as a quick introduction. If you want to participate, there is an outfit motto: Show us a look that makes you feel empowered. 💪💅
