Three artists - one concert

If "friederike." knew how life works, she wouldn't be sitting on stage. For her, songwriting is not an answer to the big questions, but a form of searching. With a fine feel for language, humor and melancholy, the Thuringian musician sings about what happens between the lines. Every now and then, she invites colleagues from near and far to join her for a special concert evening - approachable, honest and full of little surprises.

This time, Laura Liebeskind (Leipzig) and Melvin Haack (Berlin) are her guests.

The name says it all: on their new album "Toi & Moi: Das kleinste Übel", Laura Liebeskind from Leipzig - known from MDR Kultur, the Krystallpalast Variété Leipzig or the Theater der Jungen Welt - deals with the most beautiful and probably most complicated thing in the world - love. What we can learn from it. What it is and what we tend to confuse it with. How high the price is to bring it into our lives. And what synapses, statistics and a good dose of humor have to do with it. On guitar, piano and LoopStation, Laura will take a stroll through the vegetable garden of emotions to come to the conclusion at the end: Love is everything...

Melvin Haack describes himself as a singer-songwriter and mouthful. He is part of the Berlin cult trio "Schnaps im Silbersee", a gourmet of sung alphabet soup. He picks up the guitar and hits it: One burnt toast is all it takes to serve up the world formula. Salto Wortale, laughs and feelings to the guitar. A rapid gallop through the word fields between Amrum and Australia, a bit of glitter in a cloud of carbon. This program is suitable for a young, smart audience; retired teachers are also welcome.
