Musik und Poesie aus Spanien

In the organizer's words:

"Music and Poetry from Spain" is the title of the program, with songs by Federico García Lorca - Manuel de Falla - and others.
Lorca, primarily known as a Spanish writer and theater director, was also a composer and pianist. Through Manuel de Falla, whom he met during his
Falla, whom he met during his studies in Granada, inspired him to write his poem "Poema del Cante Jondo", in which he describes flamenco and gypsy culture.
This resulted in a 12-part cycle of songs from the 15th, 16th and 18th centuries.

The duo for voice and guitar, Sabine Loredo Silva and Felicitas Sarodnick, present folk music from Spain, accompanied by poems and texts from the life of Federico García Lorca.

Let yourself be enchanted by the music and immerse yourself in the poetry of Andalusia.

The DIAG team will be serving drinks and tapas.
