Boston's garage rock band MUCK & THE MIRES bring back the 60s beat and high-energy rock'n'roll with a freshness that immediately gets you moving. Once described by legendary Runaways producer Kim Fowley as "a cross between the Beatles of 1964 and the Ramones", the band delivers catchy melodies, a driving beat and a big dose of garage rock.
The group gained worldwide recognition after being named the best garage rock band in the US by LITTLE STEVEN Van Zandt in his band competition on MTV.
They have performed from coast to coast in the US, UK, EU, South America, Canada, Mexico and Japan. And they've played with many of their heroes, including The Sonics, The New York Dolls, Ray Davies (The Kinks), The Flamin' Groovies, The Stooges and even a Beatle - Pete Best!

The band consists of founding members Muck (ex-Voodoo Dolls/The Queers) on vocals and guitar, Jessie Best on drums, Pedro Mire (ex-The Apehangers) on lead guitar and longtime bassist John Quincy Mire.

Their latest album, BEAT REVOLUTION, was released in 2025
