__This performance keeps the lights on__. For Loretta, the widowed daughter of an Italian-American family in Brooklyn, one thing is certain: it is a sensible decision to remarry. When her fiancé has to go to Sicily to visit his terminally ill mother once again, she meets his estranged and tempestuous brother Ronny. Romantic feelings flare up between the two, threatening to bring chaos and unrest into Loretta's otherwise steady life.
