A Musical Journey from Klagenfurt to New York
Featuring Simon Stadler and the Westfalia Big Band
Two weeks before the official premiere at the Stadthalle Gütersloh, the Westfalia Big Band will present its new concert production, “MERCI, UDO JÜRGENS!” to a live audience for the first time—exclusively at the Baumheide Recreation Center.
Together with Austrian singer and pianist Simon Stadler, you can look forward to an emotional tribute to Udo Jürgens featuring great classics such as “Griechischer Wein,” “Ich war noch niemals in New York,” “Merci, Chérie,” and many other unforgettable songs—reimagined in rousing big-band arrangements.
The preview offers an exclusive glimpse into the final stages of a major concert production and promises an evening full of musical passion, emotion, and the joy of performing.
