Life writes the best stories—Marylou is convinced of that. The daughter of a film producer leaves Hollywood behind without a second thought. And sure enough: In a grand hotel in the south of France, she encounters an eccentric infanta, her cocky fiancé, and a lovesick hotel heir who stumbles through the action undercover as a room attendant. Love, vanity, jealousy—it’s all there! Paul Abraham composes his “fairy tale” with jazz, tango, foxtrot, and waltz. And of course: a happy ending!
