Johanna Görißen, harp
DomConsort Verden
Robert Selinger, conductor
Whoever's heart overflows must sing of his love. Composers of all times have written music that tells of love with particular intensity.
In this program, the DomConsort Verden presents treasures of choral music: love songs range from the English Renaissance to the French fin de siècle and German Romanticism. And the extent to which singing about love is part of our lives is also demonstrated by delightful settings of selected folk songs.
The program is rounded off by the award-winning musician Johanna Görißen on the harp. She recently won an award at the German Music Competition in Munich and performs virtuoso and sensuous harp music for us.
