A cooperation of d.ZENT Düsseldorf with Kunsthalle Düsseldorf and Künstlerverein Malkasten

The park of the Künstlerverein Malkasten, which has been shaping Düsseldorf's contemporary art scene since 1848, will feature new sculptures and installations by the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf this spring. The d.ZENT-WandelKonzert sets a central accent: by using the architectural interiors, it combines natural and artistic spaces. Music and performances explore connections and ruptures between inner experience and outer action as well as the transformation of artistic positions. Involving the audience, the program spans a sensual and spatial arc from German Romanticism with works by Felix Mendelssohn and Robert Schumann through Dada and Fluxus performances to new vocal works, vocal actions and site-specific performances.
