Original compositions as well as pieces from the Romantic era and film scores—curated for the concert
In his concerts, Liam Ehm revives an old tradition: that of the composer performing on his own instrument. Just as was the norm for Chopin, Liszt, or Scriabin, Ehm plays largely what he has written himself—framed by 19th-century piano repertoire and film music inspirations ranging from Morricone to Desplat, woven together in the moment of performance. The young artist, based in Münster, links the pieces with brief, personal commentary, making each of his concerts a unique experience.
