Opening Reception

Art builds bridges and promotes access to AI for our society. The project’s participants are secondary school students in Stuttgart who, in collaboration with artists, create their own artworks on the topic of AI. These works are developed in workshops at the schools and presented annually. After three years of the project, these works will be exhibited alongside the artists’ AI-themed pieces at the Kunstmuseum Stuttgart to foster intergenerational dialogue. The project is academically supported by the Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences, with Prof. Patrick Müller of the Chair of Business Psychology.

The first phase of the project, involving two Stuttgart schools, runs from March through July 2026. Artists Tim Berresheim and Viktoria Binschtok, who work with digital media and artificial intelligence, are partners in the current project phase. In collaboration with the Wilhelms-Gymnasium (Stuttgart) and the Heinrich-Heine-Gymnasium (Ostfildern)—each with approximately 25 students—they are analyzing the question: “How does AI influence our society?”
Tim Berresheim and his group are exploring the specific topic “AI and Art: Collecting the World.” Viktoria Binschtok and her group are investigating the topic “AI and Language.”

The artistic results will be exhibited on July 2 (Wilhelms-Gymnasium) and July 9 (Heinrich-Heine-Gymnasium) at the Kulturcafé Merlin (Stuttgart). The final exhibition featuring all participating partners will take place in 2028 at the Kunstmuseum Stuttgart.

Thursday, July 2 and July 9, starting at 6 p.m.
