The Muffinmates, but with a whole new twist. No more surf rock—instead, even more punk ’n’ garage ’n’ roll. It was about time for a fresh start and to step aside from the title of “best surf band” in the wider area. Maren was the perfect fit; after a brief experimental phase, she’s doing an excellent job on vocals, in our opinion. Susi prefers playing punk anyway, and Jens doesn’t really care—as long as it rocks. For Markus, it’s more about playing gigs than fiddling with songs. In any case, the age-old question at gigs—“Why isn’t anyone singing?”—has finally been answered.

The concert will take place in the Sandershaus beer garden. In case of bad weather, we’ll move inside to the bar.
