Together with Hanno Schiefner on the organ and under the direction of Matthias Stanze, the KonzertChor Braunschweig presents the rarely performed mass for choir and organ by Joseph Jongen.
First performed in 1946, the mass is considered a particularly complex and demanding work of choral literature due to its extended harmonies and independent treatment of choir and organ. At the same time, rarely heard and exciting worlds of sound unfold here.
