Jaromil Wiest: Wiederholtes gefällt

An extremely clear, thoroughly architectural design language. A revelation of hidden structures. An experimentation with forms and materials. All of this meets an extremely intuitive and equally repetitive gesture: it is the forms that are repeated again and again in sculpture and on paper that create, transform and reveal architectural spaces.

Jaromil Wiest studied Fine Arts at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano (IT) and Sculpture at Burg Giebichenstein in Halle an der Saale under Prof. Bruno Raetsch. Since 2024 he has been studying at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf as a master student of Prof. Martin Gostner. He lives and works in Düsseldorf.
