Improtheater-Workshop: Kanalsalat

In this six-hour workshop, we’ll break away from the norm and dive into the exciting world of genres and how we can combine them in a wild format. Genres offer an exciting opportunity for improv actors to develop their craft and explore stories, characters, and emotions that you wouldn’t normally experience on stage.

We’ll not only focus on well-known classic genres like Westerns, horror, or science fiction, but we’ll also explore (almost) everything that TV and streaming platforms—as well as modern social media (TikTok, Snapchat, and Instagram)—have to offer.

In addition, participants have the opportunity to bring their favorite book, fairy tale, or favorite genre (if one hasn’t been covered yet), work on it, and incorporate it into a performance.
