Tear Da Club Up - both the name of a club anthem by our guest from England and - of course - the unofficial Hypie Hypie motto. Because yes, the club institution Hypie Hypie with its hosts Schlachthofbronx is as close as ever to the pulse of internationally exciting club music, close to new mutations of bass music, pleasantly rough club tracks and everything else that is fun. This time's guest: Big Dope P. Born in Paris and now based in London, Big Dope P moves through club music with playful ease, fusing footwork, hip-hop, house and electro into his signature sound. As co-founder of Moveltraxx - a central platform for footwork, ghetto house and Jersey club - his work connects scenes and generations. His releases on labels such as Ninja Tune or Ed Banger and, most recently, his formative role in the style-defining 160 Unity environment in London reflect a sound that always remains raw and playful - and is tailor-made for Hypie Hypie. Of course: Schlachthofbronx, as always armed to the teeth with the latest sketches, tracks and collaborations to test, this time directly from the Krachparaden truck down to the Rote Sonne. Club again at last! Also involved were g1rlontop, who holds up the Footwork flag in Munich with her 160 more or less radio show, and Kamikatze, who, like her drum & bass collective TimeTripping, is a proven expert in high BPMs and deep basslines.
