A new story that we urgently need: Luzia grows up in a loving home community that provides a refuge for very different people. Various forms of love - queer, platonic, many more - and shared parenthood are practiced in the house. Later, as an adult, Luzia fights against patriarchal structures as a theater director and tries to change things for the better. Her friend Marle, whom she has known since her youth, feels a strong desire to have children in her early forties and decides to take an unusual path away from dating and relationships with men. She experiences great solidarity in the house. But suddenly, after a devastating storm, everything that this family of choice has built up over decades seems to be under threat. What does it take for such a community to survive in times like these?
