What's happening in your head when you hear "accordion"?

In recent years, the accordion has developed into a modern "sound chameleon" - diverse and unique.

Today it can be found in almost every style of music and in every instrumentation; in the orchestra, as a solo instrument or in chamber music. Its repertoire ranges from baroque Bach fugues to film music and tango, and it doesn't stop at jazz, rock and pop either.

The accordion orchestra of the Leverkusen Music and Art School and the Bayer-Leverkusen Accordion Orchestra invite you to get to know the world of accordion music in the large hall of the Forum at 17:00. Promising young musicians will also be performing and enriching the program.

In addition, we offer a very special program for the kids! At 15:00 there will be a children's concert with a musical story about the accordion. Immediately afterwards, we offer the opportunity to try out accordions for yourself on site.

As usual, admission to both concerts is free! We are happy to receive donations to support the City of Leverkusen Music and Art School.
