Formed in 1985 as a Black Flag-influenced hardcore punk band called Virulence, Fu Manchu has since become one of the most famous names in hard rock. The band released their first single "Kept Between Trees" in 1990, in the following years they helped create an iconic heavy style that came out of the desert and was branded as stoner rock with other bands like Kyuss, Monster Manget and Sleep.

Since the band's inception, the quartet has built an enthusiastic army of loyal fans, all of whom have been drawn to the group's guitar-driven sound and lighthearted lyrics. The focus is on "classic muscle cars, choppers, vans, skateboarding and science fiction". Over the course of their career, the band has released thirteen albums and played to sold-out audiences worldwide.

2024 marks another milestone for the fuzz-rock pioneers with the release of their fourteenth album "The Return Of Tomorrow" (their first double album of new material). Designed as a vinyl listening experience, the first LP features seven songs in their iconic heavy fuzz sound, including first single 'Hands Of The Zodiac' and the relentlessly catchy 'Loch Ness Wrecking Machine'. On the second LP, the band take it slower with six jams, including the synth-drenched "Solar Baptized" and the title track. Both LPs have the best possible sound at 45 RPM. Digital listeners need not worry - the album has been specially mastered for CD and streaming versions.
