In a Sudanese cotton village, Nafisa grows up listening to her grandmother's fairytale stories. When a businessman from abroad arrives with genetically modified seeds and big development plans, she becomes a key figure in the power game for the future of the village and discovers her own strength in the process.
This year's Fresh Air Cinema series takes place under the motto "Domination. Resistance. Memory - Imperialism & Colonialism". Look forward to super exciting movies! Every Friday evening, from July 03 - September 04, 2026, on the terrace of the EineWeltHaus (indoors in case of rain).
